Treasure’s Responsibilities

Live and Let Live Group of Alcoholics Anonymous

Friday nights 8:30 PM

Count the 7^th tradition collection each week and verify amount with the secretary. Also count and collect the contributions in the H & IK cans.
Reimburse the trusted servants responsible for literature, birthday cakes and chips. Get a receipt and save.
Enter the amounts in an accounts book or computer file. Itemize the receipts and disbursements and accumulate the H & I monies separately.
At the end of each month, prepare a treasurer’s Report, and bring copies to the Group’s business meeting. (1^st Friday of the month, following the regular meeting.)
Two weeks before the end of the quarter year (3/31, 6/30, 9/30 and 12/31) send in the rent for the next quarter, to the Contra Costa Service Center. (our rent is $ 80.00 / month or $ 240.00 per quarter)
At the end of each quarter, distribute the 7^th Tradition funds in excess of our prudent reserve ($ 160.00 currently or two months rent). Also send in the H & I funds collected during the quarter. Be sure to indicate the corresponding Group Code with the contribution.

Maintain complete, current, and accurate financial records of income and expenses. You are responsible to document the transactions during your term of office.
